Technical SEO Checklist for Small Business Websites
If your website is live but not showing up in search, the problem is often not your design. It is usually a missing technical foundation. This checklist covers the fixes that help search engines crawl, understand, and trust a small business website.
1. Make sure the site can be crawled
Start with the basics. Your pages need to return a normal `200` response, your navigation should use clean internal links, and your `robots.txt` file should allow search engines to crawl the main site. If important pages are blocked, they cannot rank.

7. Keep publishing useful pages
Technical SEO gets your website ready to rank, but useful content gives it something to rank for. Service pages, blog posts, FAQs, and case-style explanations build the topical relevance search engines need to see.
